Slow Forest's team beams with pride as we receive two 2023 SDG Tech Awards
Kasper Hülsen, Slow Forest Chief of Marketing, said the win was 'a shared triumph'.
"From the hands cultivating our beans in the forests to those meticulously documenting our sustainable efforts, and the dedicated individuals bringing our coffee to customers — and everyone in between. This win is a tribute to the entire Slow team, and to our customers whose consumption and support fuel our ongoing commitment to a sustainable and ethical coffee journey," said Hülsen.
The SDG Tech Awards, now in their fifth year, have established themselves a platform for celebrating sustainability trailblazers across the Nordic region. With over 400 nominees and 40 finalists vying for recognition in 9 categories, the awards attract a remarkable pool of innovators and thought leaders who are actively shaping a sustainable future for all.
Highlighting the importance of collaboration, Hülsen commented, 'Addressing sustainability challenges requires collective action. Meeting with sustainability peers and gaining insights from their experiences was like a third win for us'. "This award is a shared triumph with the other finalists, who, like us, are dedicated to sustainable and impactful practices."
Previous winners of the Best Company Solutions category feature renowned companies like Danfoss, Chr. Hansen (Probiotic), Siemens Gamesa and ROCKWOOL. This marks the first time a company the size of Slow Forest has received this recognition.
