Studies show that offering quality coffee in the workplace can boost employee morale, productivity and even creativity. But if your office coffee situation is leaving everyone feeling sluggish and unsatisfied, it's time for a change.
Tired of the same old roast? Let's explore a wider variety to wake up those taste buds. Plus, there are some amazing of ethically sourced, single-origin beans out there waiting to be discovered.
Do some team members crave a different pick-me-up? Tea, hot chocolate or plant-based alternatives can make the coffee corner more inclusive. Organic and fair-trade options are always a bonus.
Is the current selection of sweeteners and flavourings leaving you feeling "meh"? Maybe it's time to expand the options for a touch of personal sweetness (or a kick of cinnamon!).
Does your coffee station offer a variety of milk options (dairy, almond, oat, etc) to accommodate dietary needs?
Are the coffee machines readily available and user-friendly throughout the day? Long lines and malfunctioning machines are a recipe for frustration. Consider energy-efficient brewing options and regular cleaning.
Fresh coffee is happy coffee. But let's also be mindful of the environment. Do the machines use compostable filters? Can the coffee grounds be recycled?
Is the current coffee strong enough to jumpstart your mornings? Offering a weaker option or decaf could cater to caffeine-sensitive teammates. Cold brew is a smooth, less acidic option to consider.
Would fancy drinks like lattes or cappuccinos be a welcome addition? Catering to diverse preferences can create a more enjoyable coffee experience for everyone. Explore plant-based milk and reusable cups.
Do you feel comfortable sharing your honest feedback on the coffee selection, quality and anything else? We want to hear from you.
Does it matter to you that your office coffee comes from a source that supports the environment? Great coffee can be good for the planet too. (Bonus points for considering sustainable coffee options)
By asking these questions and acting on the feedback, you can create a coffee experience that keeps everyone energised, happy and ready to conquer the day, all while reducing your environmental footprint. After all, happy team, happy planet (and maybe even a few saved trees!).
